Sunday Services
At Hillsborough Parish Church we believe that each Christian forms a part of the body of Christ and so we give an importance to gathering together with other Christians on a Sunday.
At our weekly gatherings we endeavour to worship God, to be nurtured by His truth and to encourage one another. Each Sunday, we have three Services and these are different in style as you can explore below.
-
This is our main gathering on a Sunday and it is band-led and contemporary in style. It also offers a wide range of children and youth ministry along with a crèche.
Although informal in style, our 10:30am Service is also our main teaching Service with addresses from the Bible seeking to apply the Christian faith to modern life.
-
This is a traditional Anglican Service of Holy Communion according to the Book of Common Prayer. It is more reflective in nature and does not feature any music but does include a Bible teaching element.
-
This varies week by week between a traditional Service of Late Evening Office and a monthly contemporary Youth Service or Cafe Church (with discussion on different key issues).
Best to check our calendar for what format of Service is taking place this week.
